On motion of Ald McKelvey seconded by Ald McRossie
Ordered, That the communication of M. Fair be referred
to the Copmmittee on the Market and City Property and report at
the next meeting of this Council. The chairman of City Property
to be the Convenor.

Ald McKelvey brought up the petition of Henry Cunningham
and ten others Kingston Yacht men praying the Council will
allow the sell of ways laid down at the foot of Simcoe Street
to remain there as long as they are no inconvenience to the City.

On motion of Ald McKelvey seconded by Ald McRossie
Ordered, That the petition of the Kingston Yachtsmen be
referred to the Committee on Streets to report to this Council in the
event of their finding the ways mentioned an inconvenience to
the public.

Ald McKelvey bring up the petition of George Morton
and Sons respecting taxes.

On motion of Ald McKelvey seconded by Ald Mooers
Ordered, That the petition of George Morton & Sons be
referred to the Court of Revision to report thereon.

Ald McCammon brought up the petition of J Boyd respecting
taxes.

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald McGuire
Ordered, That the petition of J Boyd be referred to the Court
of Revision.

Ald Wilson brought up the petition of Messrs Walsh
Brothers praying permission to sell meat in their shop on
King street &c

On motion of Ald Wilson seconded by Ald McDermott
Ordered, That the petition of Walsh Brothers be
granted.

Ald Carson brought up the petition of William
Harkness praying permission to sell fresh or Butchers
meat on the premises now occupied by him on Wellington street.

On motion of Ald Carson seconded by Ald Fee
Ordered, That the petition of Wiliam Harkness be
granted.

Ald Irving brought up the petition of James Gowdey
praying permission to sell fresh meats on his premises
situated on the south side of Princess street between
Sydenham and Clergy street.

On motion of Ald Irving seconded by Ald McDermott
Ordered, That the petition of James Goudey in
reference to sale of Butchers meat be granted on the
usual conditions.

Ald Carson brought up the petition of Andrew Mills
respecting back taxes.

On motion of Ald Snook seconded by Ald McGuire
Ordered, That the petition of Andrew Mills be referred
to the Committee on back taxes.
