Ordered that the Communication of Mr
Le Richeux be referred to the Committee on City Property
to report

A Communication from the College of Physicians
and Surgeons of Ontario was read thanking the Council
for the use of the City Hall

A Communication from the City Clerk was read
stating it was reported to him that Lot 9 West side
of McDonald or Centre streets Victoria Ward City of
Kingston has been omitted to be assessed on the
Non Resident Lise of 1878

On motion of Ald Snook seconded by Ald McGuire

Ordered that the Clerk do duly enter Lot
Number Nine West side of McDonell street or Centre
street referred to by his letter of 9th instant just read
on the proper Roll for all arrears omitted pursuant to
statute in such behalf

A Requisition from L. B. Hance Chief of Police
was read - Book of Passes and Cards- Referred
to the Mayor

A Communication from James Shannon was read
inviting the Mayor to be present at a Meeting of the Members
of the Local Press tomorrow

On motion of Ald Drennan seconded by Ald Allen

Ordered that the Members of the Council on
behalf of the City give the Press association during
their visit about to take place, a drive through the
City and places of interest about the same as an
appreciation of said association as representatives
of the press of the Dominion and that the Mayor, Aldmn
Allen, McKelvey, Carson, Harty, McGuire, and the
mover be a Committee for the purpose of carrying out
the same - yeas 10 nays 7
