for the reception of His Excellency the Governor General
and Her Royal Highness the Princess Louise brought
up a Report (Number 702 Book D No 2) which was read

On Motion of Ald Redden seconded by Ald Pense

Ordered that the Report of the General Reception
Committee for the reception of His Excellency the Governor
General and Her Royal Highness the Princess Louise be
received and adopted

Ordered that the thanks of the Council as
representing the citizens are due and hereby tendered
to George A Kirkpatrick Esquire M.P. for the hospitality
and handsome manner in which he entertained His
Excellency the Governor General and Her Royal
Highness the Princess Louise on the occasion of their
recent visit to the city.

On motion the Council adjourned
