be done to the satisfaction of the City Engineer

conducting the business of Municipal Councils,"

Ald Carson brought up the petition of John
McCammon and John Haffner praying they may be
granted leave to sell Butchers meat in the shops
now occupied by them on Princess street

On motion of Ald Carson seconded by Ald Allen

Ordered that the petition of John McCammon
and John Haffner be granted

Ald Carson brought up the petition of Thomas
Carter and 30 others praying for the erection of a Lamp
Post at the corner of Princess and Nelson streets

On motion of Ald Carson seconded by Ald Fee

Ordered that the petition of Thomas Carter and
others be referred to the Committee on Fire, Water and
Gas to report

Ald Allen brought up the petition of Thomas
Miller and 13 others praying for the erection of a coal
oil lamp at Mr Bunts Corner Bond Head street

On motion of Ald Allen seconded by Ald McRossie
Ordered, That the petition of Thomas Miller and
others be referred to the Committee on Fire, Water and Gas
to report.

Ald Mooers brought up the petition of James Gibson
and 30 others praying for the construction of a hydrant
on the corner of Union and Garden street.

On motion of Ald Mooers seconded by Ald Gaskin
Ordered, That the petition of James Gibson and others
asking for a tank at the corner of the Orphans Home
be referred to the Committee on Fire, Water and Gas to report
next meeting.

on the subject of opening up Herckmer street and Herckmer
avenue &c

On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Mooers
Ordered, That the petition of John Rowlands be
referred to the Committee on Streets to report.

respecting taxes

On motion of Ald Pense seconded by Ald Redden
Ordered, That the petition of WH Gordon be
referred to the Court of Revision.
