Ordered, that the Clerk be instructed to have
five hundred copies of the By Law passed by this Council
granting Butchers a license to sell meat by retail printed
and that the Clerk of the Market notify all parties selling
fresh meat to comply with the By Law within one month
Ald Gaskin gives notice he will introduce a By
Law to amend the By Law passed May 19th 1879 and that
a By Law to grant Licenses for the sale of Fresh Meat &c
Alderman Frennan from the Committee on
Finance and Accounts brought up a Report (Number
698 Book D No 2) which was read and adopted

On motion of Ald McKelvey, seconded by Ald Harty
Ordered that hte members of this Council
do attend the procession accompanying Her Royal
Highness and the Governeor General in a body -
On motion the Council adjourned
