Ald Drennan brought up the petition of C. R. Ashley
praying for a remission of six months shop license

On motion of Ald Drennan seconded by Ald Allen
Ordered. That the petition of C. R. Ashley be referred to the
License Committee to report.

Ald Drennan brought up the petition of Henry Brown
praying permission to place a sign over his door in the Market Building.

On motion of Ald Drennan seconded by Ald Pense
Ordered, That the petition of Henry Brown be referred to the
Committee on City Property with power to act.

Ald McIntyre brought up the petition of John Lauder
praying that certain taxes charged against him be written off

On motion of Ald McInyre seconded by Ald Fee
Ordered, That the petition of John Lauder be referred to the
Court of Revision to report

Ald McGuire brought up the petition of Francis McGuinnes
praying for a remission of back taxes charged against his premises

On motion of Ald McIntyre seconded by Ald Fee
Ordered, That the petition of Francis McGuinnes be referred
to the Court of Revision to report.

Ald McCammon brought up the petition of William Glidden
praying for a remission of back taxes, being wrongly charged against
him.

On motion of Ald McIntyre seconded by Ald Fee
Ordered that the petition of William Glidden be referred to
the Court of Revision to report.

Ald McCammon brought up the petition of Caroline Smith
praying for a remission of taxes on account of poverty

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald McGuire
Orderd that the petition of Caroline Smith be referred to
the Court of Revision

Ald Fee brought up the petition of David Gibson praying
for a remission of frontage for drain at the head of Princess Street

On motion of Ald Fee seconded by Ald McIntyre
Ordered that the petiton of David Gibson be referred to the
Committee on Streets to report

Ald McCammon brought up the petiton of Henry Nuttall
and others praying for the opening of the Artillery Park to the Public
as a place for recreation

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald Pense
Ordered that the petition of Henry Nuttall and others be referred
to the deputation appointed by this Council consisting of His Worship the
Mayor, Aldermen Allen and Drennan.

Ald Allen brought up the petition of John Maloney and others
praying that the drain on Rideau and North Streets be attended to said
drain being a nuisance

On motion of Ald Allen seconded by Ald McGuire
Ordered
