Ordered that the letter of Mr Killeen be referred
to the Committee on Streets to report

A Communication from M Lavell Esquire MD was
read soliciting the free use of Ontario Hall for the
annual examinations of the College of Physicans and
Surgeons of Ontario which Commence on the 8th of April

On motion of Ald Drennan seconded by Ald Carson
Ordered that the Communication of Dr Lavell
in reference to the examinations of the Medical College
be granted

A Communication from John Kerr Manager Gas Co was
read relative to rates of lighting the Street Lamps &c

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald Gaskin
Ordered that the Committee on Fire, Water, and Gas to

A Communication from Grace Lauder was read claiming
damages owing to injuries received from the bad state of
the side walk on Princess street

On motion of Ald Carson seconded by Ald Fee
Ordered that the Communication of Mrs Lauder
be referred to the Committe on Finance to report

Ald McKelvey brought up the petition of Principal
Grant and 12 others praying that the natural water course
running through the grounds of Queens College and the General
Hospital be converted into a covered sewer by the City &c

Ordered that the petition of Principal Grant be
referred to the Committe on Streets to report

Ald McKelvey brought up the petition of Michael Devon
requesting that the council will Contribute to the Cost of making
the Culvert Crossing King street West at the Gawalt Property
