On motion of the Mayor seconded by Ald Drennan
Ordered that the Amount of security to be given
by the Clerk of the Police Court be $400

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald McRossie
Ordered that the 14th clause be struck out
The 15th clause was also struck out

In Amendment
Ald Gaskin moves seconded by Ald McIntyre
That the report of the Committee on Officers and
Salaries as now amended and increased do not be now
adopted by this Council but instead thereof this Council
do now adpot the report as originally brought in by the
Committee as we Consider the reduction made by said
Committee not too much considering the present position
of the finances of the City and also as to the ability of large
portion of the Citizens to pay, and only in confomity with the reduction
at present prevailing in all articles of Consumption which bring
put was lost
