Ordered, That the communication of James A
McDovall be referred to the Court of Revision.

A communication from James Agnew Esquire, City
Solicitor was read In Re proposed amendment to Market
By Laws.

Ald Metcalfe brought up the petition of Joseph Kidd
respecting frontage.

On motion of Ald Metcalfe seconded by Ald McCammon
Ordered, That the petition of Joseph Kidd be referred
to the Committee on Streets to report at next meeting of the
Council.

Ald McCammon brought up the petition of John
Grey praying the Council will cause a nuisance to be abated
between Lot Nos 19 & 20 John street.

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald Pense
Ordered, That the petition of John Grey and Charles
Dinsmore be referred to the Committee on Streets to report.

Ald Gaskin brought up the petition of John Purdue
applying for the position of Scavenger of Market Number one

On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Mooers
Ordered, That the petition of John Perdu be referred to the
Market Committee to report.

respecting frontage

Ordered, That the petition of Edward Morham
in reference to frontage be referred to the Committee
on streets to report.

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald Metcalfe
Ordered, That the petition of Messrs Gardiner
Martin and Bailey be referred to the Committee on
Streets to report.

which was read and adopted
