A Special Meeting of the Council of the Corporation
of the City of Kingston was held this day. Present

His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Anglin, Fee, Metcalfe, McCammon, McRossie,
Pense, Woods.

The Meeting adjourned for want of a quorum.

of Kingston was held this day. Present

His Worship the Mayor
Aldermen
Allen, Anglin, Asselstine, Carson, Clements,
Drennan, Dupuis, Fee, Gaskin, Gildersleeve,
Metcalfe, Mooers, McCammon, McRossie, Pense,
Wilson, Woods.

The Clerk read the minutes of the three last meetings

A communication from James Shannon Esquire Agent
of the Trust and Loan Company complaining of an obstruction
erected by Judge Price Montreal street and asking to have
it removed.

On motion of Ald McCammon seconded by Ald Woods
Ordered, That the communication of Mr James
Shannon be referred to the Committee on Streets to report.

A Circular from Messrs George Bishop & Co was read
on the subject of engrossing an illuminating addresses.

On motion of Ald Metcalfe seconded by Ald Fee.
Ordered, That the communication of Messrs George
Bishop & Co be referred to the Committee on Printing.

A communication from Messrs Kirkpatrick and Rogers
Barristers &c was read stating they have been instructed by
Mrs Johnston Orr to demand payment of damage suffered
through the faulty construction of the Princess street drain.

On motion of Ald Drennan seconded by Ald Clements
Ordered, That the communication of Mrs Orr be
referred to the City solicitior to take what legal steps he may
deem necessary to protect the interests of the City.

On motion of Ald McRossie seocnded by Ald Carson
Ordered
