an addition to Plank Walk.

That the petition of Mr Karch be referred
to the members of Rideau Ward which being put
was lost and the original motion was carried.

Ald Allen brought up the petition of John
Cameron praying for a rebate in his Tavern License.

On motion of Ald Allen seconded by Ald Drennan
Ordered, That the prayer of John Cameron's
petition be referred to the Committee on License to report.

Ald Allen brought up the petition of James Connolly
praying to be appointed Market Scavenger.

On motion of Ald Allen seconded by Ald Drennan
Ordered, That the petition of James Connelly
be referred to the Market Committee to report.

Ald Metcalfe brought up the petition of P
Lennon pryaing that the City Engineer be authorised
to measure the broken stone.

On motition of Ald Metclafe seconded by Ald Dupuis
Ordered, That the petition of P Lennon be referred
to the Committee on Finance to report.

On motion of Ald Gaskin seconded by Ald Mooers
Ordered, That the Mayor authorise the tax collector
to make out a statement of all taxes owed for years
1874, 1875, 1876, 1877 said statement to be presented to
this Council at its next meeting.

On motion of Ald Dupuis seconded by Ald Drennan
Ordered, That we adjourn till Tuesday evening
next to consider the Budget.

On motion the Council adjourned.
