First I'll tell you
what I can't and why. I can
name no places in which
I have been, am or will
be. I can write nothing
of the movements of troops
or men. I can send you
none of the pictures that
I had saved to mail
from civilization - not
even a snap of myself,
or a postcard. I can
write nothing about any
conditions. All my mail
will be read before it
reaches you, and I mail
my letters uncealed.
