Dear Lucille,

Thank you so much for sending along the copy of Artist
in Maine magazine. The article came through quite well and
we have our neighbor Patricia D. Reef to thank for it.

We missed seeing you last summer and hope that we will
have time to get together next year. It seems that I stay
as busy there as I do here and get so little done. I am hoping
that we will have more time for leisure activities next year.

We hear from Mrs. Davis from time to time and are always
glad to lnow about what is happening there. We have been
having lovely weather here, certainly not like winter.

We hope that you and your family will have a very Merry
Christmas and a joyous New Year. Many thanks again.
