Dear Dr. Driskell (or "Dr. D.", as Ophelia says):
Enclosed please find my check in the amount of thirty
dollars ($30.00), the cost for three (3) packages of your
beautiful note cards with envelopes.
I so much appreciated the very thoughtful note that Ophelia
Speight sent me, but I appreciated it all the more because I also
received one of your beautiful cards. That is how I came to know
about them. Immediately I thought of family and friends who would
also enjoy them. Thus, my call to you.
As I suggested, if you will give the cards to Ophelia when
you next see her -- then I will arrange to get them from her when
I return from Albany, New York, the week after Thanksgiving.
Sorry that I was unable to hear you speak today. Perhaps
there will be another opportunity to do so.
