Responsibilities include: coordinating educational programs
and publications for the collections and special
exhibitions, teaching and supervising volunteers,
lecturing, touring, and writing interpretive materials.

Requirements: M.A. in Art History; minimum three years'
experience in museum education; good speaking,
research and writing skills.

Background in either African or Asian art is
desirable but not required.

Salary range: $17,406 to $24,700

This is a civil service position with the City of Detroit.
Non-Detroit residents are eligible and encouraged to apply,
with the understanding that they must establish residence
in the City of Detroit at the time of hire.
