-All the figures have been recut in Gruninger's 2nd ed. He
subsequently used them to illustrate H. Brunschwig's
"Book of Distillation."
-All standard works used by the medical practitioners had
been reproduced in 1 or more ed. by about 1480 -
M. Sylvaticus, Serspio, Mesue, N. Salairitanus, Macer
floridus, Rhezes, Dyascorides, Pliny, B. Anglicus
+ V. Besuvais.
