338 leaves, 10-338 numbered ij-cccxxx with errors. Table printed
in 3 col. 3a: 37-38 lines, 220x153 mm. (272x203mm)
Types: 114 B; 89 B, positions of text in quire (b), + occassionally
for names within the circles, etc. A few capitals spaces with
guide letters. Capital G on 2a. Woodcuts 23, diagrams. Borders
9a, fasciculus temporum.
114 B - bold text type, of "West Flandus family" The curved
forestroke of A, B, M + loop of H carried below the line +
well under the letter.
89 B - small text type. In the possession of Veldener since
1475 + brought from Louvrain.
The cuts are from blocks used in Veldener's Louvrain
(Belgium) ed. of the Fasciculus temporum, 29 Dec 1475
with the addition of 12 new ones + a set of coats of arms -
Used only in the supplementary chronicles.
-33 woodcuts from 20 blocks. Vellener reprinted 8 of the 9 cuts from his Louvain ed -supplementing these are 12 new cuts.
After printing the Epistolae peramoenae of Aeneas Sylvias
in 1477 Veldener moved from Louvain to Utrecht. The
earliest date connected with the 2nd press is 4 Nov. 1478.
His output, though small remained constant until 1481, his
latest book printed at Utrecht being another ed. of the same
work, date 9 Oct. of that same year (1481). In 1483 till 1488 he was
working at Kuilenberg.
1st press - Louvain 1474-1477
- one of Veldener's most interesting productions, the Fasciculus
Temporum in ta Dutch translation. Here the printer surpassed
his earlier Latin ed. printed at Louvain, by the introduction
