Harrap feels no doubt of the considerable success of the "Polar Picnic" and will therefore be glad to bring out your other book (about 1917/21) whenever you have it ready. He says a six-months interval between the books would be all right, so that your second book could be one of the Fall publications, 1924.

The Wrangell Island situation is being held over for the Imperial Conference. I think that success is likely. That will depend in some part upon the impression you are making in Canada, both personally and with regard to Wrangell Island.

It has been a difficult case over here in England. I judge from one or two sentences in your letters to Taylor that you have but a slight idea of the real difficulties.

The sketch of you written by Erskine was published here about a week ago. On my advice Harrap got a large number of papers containing it which they will use when they begin advertising your book.

I have spoken to the best lecture manager here about your coming to England. He says the bookings are all full for this year but that he could get a good tour for you in the fall of 1924. There would not be very much money in it but the increased reputation would be worth while.

You did your work well. I hope you coninue to have the best of luck.

V. Stefansson.

Mr. Harold Noice, c/o Mr. A.J. Taylor, Bank of Hamilton Building, Toronto, Ont. , Canada.
