Maurer
.
Dear Mr. Maurer:
You have again been very kind in sending me so promptly copies of your brother's letters. Please thank your sister for me for having copied them.
I am not sending a letter to your friend, Mr. Kenneth Robb, to give to the Galles because I have already written them direct, saying that he will be coming to visit them and will bring messages directly from you. After all, I think it will mean more to the Galles to hear from you than from me because your position and theirs naturally forms a close bond of sympathy between the two families.
As yet we have not cleared up the legal difficulties with Mr. Noice. I am compelled to leave on a trip lasting a few days and hope when I get back to be able to give you encouraging news with regard to at least that aspect of the case.
