I am sorry to have delayed sending Fred's letter. Since I saw you in Cleveland there has been so much happen and with it all I have been ill and in bed part of the time.

I hope things are taking on a brighter aspect than when I saw you last, I realized you worry and would help alleviate it if possible, although the state of mind I am in has not permitted me to be of much help to carry one,

however circumstances have to be adjusted sooner or later and I am making every effort.
