VERSO:

At a meeting of the Directors of the
Cemetery Association, at Prof. Brown's
study,

Voted that the Report of the
Committee recommending the oath
of about one fourth of an acre of the
Cemetery grounds to Prof. Fairbanks
be accepted and adopted.

The condition of sale were that Prof. Fairbanks should pay $200. for
the parcel containing one fourth of an
acre more or less, and build the
fence between his land and the
cemetery grounds and keep it in
repair forever.

Voted that the Secretary procure a
little to said land from the college and
attend to the conveyance of it to
Prof. Fairbanks

RECTO:
At a meeting of the Directors of the
Hanover Cemetery Association, held at
Prof. Sanborn's study on the evening
of May 20, 1871,

Voted to appoint a Committee of
three with full powers to act for
the Association with reference to
the propositions made by Mr. H. Hitchcock

Voted that Samuel Cobb, E. K. Smith
and Prof. Young be that Committee
of which Mr. E. K. Smith is chairman.

Voted to relinquish to Mr. Hiram Hitchcock
the right of way over his land, provided
he will build a carriage road, from
a point East of Dr. Lord's monument down
through the ravine to the hollow
immediately West of Mr. Cobb's lot, to the
acceptance of the above name Committee.
Also, Voted that the same Committee be authorized
to sell, from the West side of the cemetery grounds,
a parcel of land, not to exceed 25 square [cods],
