April 29th Friday. 7 P.M.-
At a meeting of the Directors of the Dart-
mouth Cemetery Association there were
present Mssrs. Brown, Luds, Tenny, Blais-
dell
, Cobb, Crosby & Aiken.
It was voted that Major Tenny be a Com-
mittee to examine the conditions of the Ceme-
tery fence, & report the repairs needed, with
estimates of the expense of different kinds of
fencing - with authority to engage (if expendi-
ent) a sufficient number of stone posts.
Voted that Profr. Brown & Dr. Crosby
be a Committee to examine & report upon the
state & [events] of the Cemetery with respect to
internal improvements & ornamentation.
Voted that Mr. Cobb & Prof. Aiken be a
Committee to consider & report upon the propo-
sition of Prof. Fairbanks to purchase a few
rods of land near the N.W. corner of the Cemetery.
Voted that Mr. Blaisdell be a Committee to
see Prof. Hubbard with reference to his drain
now opening near the East line of the Cemetery &
rendering a portion of the ground useless & offensive.
