Know all men by these presents that I James B Ellington of the County of Attala State of Mississippi have this day Constituted and appointed and by these presents do constitute and appoint A M West of Macon Mississippi my agent and attorney for me and in my Stead to Collect any and all money due me by the State of Mississippi for property impressed for the use of the State and to receipt therefor and give any other Satisfaction assurances of pay-ment that may be necessary this preises &c and to do any and all other things in the premisis that I Could do if personally present

Personally appeared before me T D Sallis Clerk of the Probate Court of said county James B Ellington who acknowledges that Co Signer sealed and delivered the forgoing power of Attorny on this day and date thereof and for the uses and purposes therein mentioned
