Mon Nov 7 Clear and still but quite cool.
The boys plowed. I finished covering the
raspberries this forenoon and this
afternoon trimmed in the orchard.
Jake came and got the fish. I guess
that some have got away for there
was only 333 lbs of them.

Tues Nov 8 We had a cold
cloudy raw day but the election went
off all right I guess for Mother Lew Kib
and I all went to the election and all
voted but two. Got a letter from Meda
She seems to feel quite encouraged
about the show there for a school.

Wed Nov 9 Pretty to look at but a cold
south wind. Lew went up to work on the
ditch somewhere and has not go back yet to
report. Kib plowed this forenoon and went to
town this afternoon. I worked at the
new calf stable. Lew says he was
working this side of Dry Creek.
