Thurs Nov 3 Real nice all day. Dave put in our time fishing. We had from fair to middling luck made four hauls and got some 440 carp suckers and sunfish and mended seine some too.

Fri Nov 4 Very nice to day. We all fished a gain and caught over 750 fish mostly suckers but some very nice carp.

Sat Nov 5 Oh how nice to day has been. Lew and Kib hauled some hay and put into the barn this forenoon and this afternoon Lew went to town with the cream and Meda and Kib and I worked at covering raspberries and I did this forenoon.

Sun Nov 6 Cold Windy and raw all day. Lew went over to Collins and took Meda and her things and she went to Boulder on the 2 O clock train to begin her mission in behalf of the little kids there. I staid [stayed] indoors to keep Mother company mostly.

Mon Nov 7 Clear and still but quite cool. The boys plowed. I finished covering the raspberries this forenoon and this afternoon trimmed in the orchard. Jake came and got the fish. I guess that some have got away for there was only 333 lbs of them.

Tues Nov 8 We had a cold cloudy raw day but the election went off all right I guess for Mother Lew Kib and I all went to the election and all voted but two. Got a letter from Meda She seems to feel quite encouraged about the show there for a school.

Wed Nov 9 Pretty to look at but a cold south wind. Lew went up to work on the ditch somewhere and has not go back yet to report. Kib plowed this forenoon and went to town this afternoon. I worked at the new calf stable. Lew says he was working this side of Dry Creek.

Thurs Nov 10 Pretty fair day. Lew went on to the ditch again to day. Kib finished plowing the wheat stubble got done just cow time. I worked at the calf stable can see the end of the job not far ahead.

Fri Nov 11 Very nice to day. Lew worked on the ditch. Kib chored around some and went to town some. I finished the calf stable and done some other jobs to get ready to make a bull stable.

Sat Nov 12 Nice. Lew worked on the ditch. Kib and I worked at getting the lumber and getting other things ready for building the bull stable.

Sun Nov 13 Quite nice only a little raw. We kept sun [Sunday] mostly. Charleys folks were here just at night.

Mon Nov 14 Pretty fair on an average. Lew and I went to Spring Canion [Canyon] ranch to se [see] after the critters and things up there and bring some things down that would be in the way of our new renter Mr Jones who has agreed to move into and occupy the premises up there and care for our stock and things for the rent. We found 2 head of cattle missing to day and several head of Mrs Goldings cattle in the field. Kib cleaned out the calf stable and little yard.

Tues Nov 15 Pretty fair after it got warmed up. Lew worked on the ditch below Dry Creek. Kib and I worked at the hill stable. Mr Monty and his boy were here to dinner they had two teams.

Wed Nov 16 Cold and raw and the wind blew great guns and is going it yet. Lew helped on the ditch in Howards field and they got to the division board all right. Kib went to town with the cream and this afternoon tried to keep out of the wind some. I worked at the bull stable this forenoon and tried to keep warm this afternoon.

Thurs Nov 17 Clear and cool but not so bad as yesterday. Lew and I worked at the division putting in a gate for Mr B and us. Kib cleaned out old Beauties stable and one of the calf pens.

Fri Nov 18 Clear and quite nice. Lew and Kib and Will Ringland 1st plowed the ditch north of J K Howards place this forenoon and this afternoon they scraped some. I worked at the bull stable.
