A good day. Marvin Smith
cut corn. The children
went to school. Carrie
fixed to wash. Before
she commence
Mrs McLaulin come to
spend the day. She had
her little boy with
her. He is a fine little
fellow. When she went
home Carrie and I walked
with her nearly home.
It is not far but a
steep hill to clime. I
am very glad that
Carrie has her for
a neighbor. She seems
to be a fine woman.
Carrie had snaps and
butter beans and
sweet potatoes and cake.
I have set a round
today and rested.
Would like to know what
they are doing at home.
