A good day. Ben
fired tobacco all day.
The others suckered.
We folks at the house
cooked and churned and
[nursed?]. This evening
the children and I
went to the tobacco
patch a little while.
Then we went to
Mr Bookers. Mrs
was not at the
house. I come home.
I come by the pea
patch and gathered
some peas and shelled
them.
Clifton Reynols and
family and Henry
Brumfield come.
I was glad to see
them. I have finished
stringing snaps for
dinner tomorrow.
