A good day. The men
hauled some flue wood
this morning. This evening
Henry and John Ward went
to the mill. They got their
grinding. Jim and Ben
and I went to Gretna
and to see Marvin
and Carrie. We had a rough
trip but I was glad
to go. Alma Bennett
is here. She has made
the most of three
dresses since yesterday.
She got supper for me
tonight. She is one handy
girl. Oh how I wish
I could see all of
the children. Some of
them that could come
to see me won't
come. Alma wants
me to try on my
new dresses.
