Sunday, July 1, 1923

A rainy morning. Did not
rain long. I hope it may
rain a gain tonight.
Marvin and family come
today. I was very glad
I had cooked our dinner
when they got here.
Carrie brought two chickens
ready to fry and a cake
so we had dinner aplenty
with very little trouble.
Henry went to Sunday
school. Lawson Emerson
come home with him.
They eat dinner and
them and Jo Edmons
and Reese went to
get in the water
some where.
Mabel went to sleep
be fore sundow and I
guess she will sleep
until morning.
