A very hot day and no
rain yet. Ben finished
cutting oat this evening.
They got up the oat that
he mowed. Oscar Brumfield
come and got the binder.
I hope he may have good
time and not brake any
thing. This evening I got a
letter from Alma Bennett.
She is in Indiana. Well
I don't know how to spell.
I picked a few berries
this evening. Berries is
very scarce. I think
Floid and Christinia went
and got some [Sunday?].
I feel hurt to night.
Ben was mad at supper.
I do the best I know
how and that is all that
I can do. If he can find
any one that will do
better I would be glad.
