A good day but no rain.
There was a little shower
last night. The men watered
and planted some tobacco
to day. I had a letter
from John Brumfield.
He is in Washington
at work. Heard to day
that Mrs. Bunny [?ne?]
has a fine boy. There is
a Sunday school meeting
going on at Strait Stone.
Denia come to see
me this evening. She
did not find me.
Then she went to Mr
Bookers. Mrs Booker phoned
me that she was there
so Mabel and I went up
there. I have brought
more water to day
than I have for a long
time. Edna dropped plants.
