Saturday, May 12, 1923

A windy day. We need
rain bad. The men have
not done much today.
I have not done
any thing to count
any thing. Lelia
Ward come this morning
and washed up the
dishes for me.
Mrs. Booker come
this evening to get
a setting of eggs
for Mrs. Dave Booker[?].
Ben and Henry
are fixing to go
to Strait Stone
to the Lodge.
Jim planted some
tomatoe plants.
The weather is so
colde and the land
so dry that nothing
cant grow. The children
is worrying me. They won't
go to sleep.
