Monday, May 7, 1923

A good day. Jim hauled
olde rails to the wood
pile for stove wood.
Henry plowed.
Hattie Gilbert washed
here. Lelia Ward
come here a little
while. She brought
all of her children
with her. Good looking
little darkeys.
I have bin busy
most of the day.
The children and I
walked over to the
barns looking for
wilde straw berrie
blooms. Found a nice
little patch.
