Saturday, April 7, 1923

A very good day. Jim
plowed some in the garden
and planted some potatoes.
Ben has not come
home yet. I had a letter
from Carrie today. Was
glad to hear from them.
Marvin had gone on a
trip to Harrisonburg.
Letia killed and dressed
a hen for me.
Nellie has waited on
the children a lot
today. Franklin is sick
and Mabel dont feel
good a bit and is so
cross. Henry fished
some today in the branch.
Caught 4 little fish.
I put out 25 little
chickens this morning.
I hope tht Ben will
come home tonight but
dought it.
