Friday, March 30, 1923

A good day. Ben and Jim
plowed some. They finished
hauling up the corn.
John Ward planted
his garden. Nellie finished
making the bayby two
dresses and bloomers. I worked
the button holes. Nellie
washed all the evening.
the post office in [Gretna?]
come to see Nellie
today. Henry and Edna
has bin sick all day.
Edna is some better
tonight. Franklin
has followed the men
most of the day.
Our phone has gone dead.
Today we cant her
over it so as to under
stand any thing that is
said. Ben went to Norman
Bookers tonight to get them
to phone Johnson Reynolds
to come and fix it.
