A clear cold day. Jim and Ben finished burning their plant bed and sowed it. They got seed from Mr. Edmonds. Edmonds? folks are sick with the flue. Nellie washed some today. I got dinner. I cooked a chicken and baked some bread for to send to Mr. Owen's people. Their little boy died today. Mrs Owen has pneumonia. I do hope that she may get well. Ben has gone to Owens tonight. Mrs Carr churned for me a gain today. Mabel & Edna has gone with Mrs. Carr upstairs. Edna has come back. Today has been the coldest day of the winter.
