Sunday, March 7, 1920

A cloudy and snowed untwelve. Colde and clear to night. Lee Brumfield & Hugh come eat dinner with us. Henry & Hugh went out. The dogs caught a possome. Hugh started home with it. Josie done the work a gain today. I set by the fire. Do hope I may be able to work soon.

A beautiful day but colde. Jim started to Chatham this morning. He went with Posie Reynolds. Ben & Owen cut some wood this morning. He went to the saw mill this evening. Josie got dinner. I washed dishes after dinner. Josie went to Carries this evening a little while. Henry and Edna went to school today. I cut some quilt peices today. Heard that the surveyor was at work on the road way today.

A beautiful day. Ben & Owen made a crate for Mr. Owens calf. This evening Ben went to the saw mill. Josie washed a big washing. I staid with the children. I have helped some to day. They are haveing a dance at Mr. Edmons to night. Ben & Josie was invited but did not go. The baby has a bad colde. Is very cross. I had a letter from Julia Fergerson this evening. I am always glad to hear from any of the folks off.

A good day. Ben went to Gretna for ship stuff. Jim met him and come home. Ben carried Owens calf. Carrie come and spent the day with us. Mrs. Owen come a little while. The baby has bin sick all day and cried the most of the time. I do hope she may be better by morning. John Brumfield was at Gretna today. I am so glad that the boys is at home. Henry & Edna went to school. 8 oclock

Thursday, March 11, 1920

A cloudy day. Jim worked on the orchard. Ben hewed some logs. Kate Harvey come a little while. Mr Power & Jessie come while we were at dinner. I was glad that they come. Dick Wooding stopped here for Ben to help him a bout his car. Miss Wooding and Miss Moses & Miss Henderson was with him. They come in and staid while they worked on the car. I hope they got it so it will be ok for a while. Their baby is a fine one.
