This evening This evening I am Down Hunt Sallie Tate Hargrave & Misses Alice Hunt came here and about night Bro. Gacy came here 5 days all night, Sallie T Hargrave Tate Doron. & Alice stayed 3 days 23. rdworming & succering Tobacco in old field 24. th Same work Thurs-day too -- Recd a letter from Saml Gilbert; --Mr Edmond B. Fitzgerald here this day Wm W Moses Jr went home with Ed 25. Edmond Dews Tossing Tobacco for for Peter Adams & they are both gone from home & Tobacco full of worms & suckers. Edmond cleaning up round his corn field finer & doing it up then other side of old prize Barn I want Mt Airy Edmond Hilling up Peters Tobacco & Jimmy & [?] 1/2 this day & himself all day 26 Edmond Fencing round the corn field the other side of Tobacco lot . Cloudy this morning then cleared off pretty Peters [?] gathering [?] Wm got very [f__d?] this year Very warm weather yet. every thing growing [mr g.?] Edmond B Fitzgerald [talks?] & children & my [Julin?] Brooks came here about 12 Oclock to day Saturday : Rained a little this evening

Worked Monday & Tuesday this week } 2 days Wednesday went to Blunks to raise Barn & then Sick & went home
Came again this morning getting Shingles. Till 29th in evening.
Worked till Friday evening narly 5 days. 5 days
Worked only 4 days this week 4 days Mr Johnson Farmer worked here yesterday 1 day Helping coupling the Rafters &c for Barn.

Mr H. Arnold his Brother & Mr D.Rice came here at 3 Oclock in the [??] on our Porch & finished it in about 2 days |they then went to work on my Prize Shed at the Sum of two Dollars, pr day that is H at $1.00 the other 2 at 50¢ pr each $2 3 men 2 days

Mr H Bro. came again about 3 Oclock in ev'ing to work.
The 2 Mr Arnolds worked 2 or 3 Hours this morning & it began to rain & they left.
