District of West Tennessee [?] Be it Remembered that on the thirty first day of August in the year 1873 and in the thirty-Eighth year of the Independence of the United States of America, [Burton?] W. Stone, John Adams and David [Mcgahey?] of the said District deposited in this office the title of a Book the right whereof they claim as proprietors in the words following towit.

"Christian Hymns, or a Collection "of Spiritual Songs, Corrected and "inlarged. "Let everything that hath breath "praise the Lord, Praise ye thie "Lord Ps. 156,,6. Second Edition

In conformity to the Act of Congress in Such case made and provided.

District of West Tennessee [Gvt?] Be it remembered that on the 27th day of October in the thirty ninth year of the Independence of the United States of America and in the year of our lord 1874, William W. Cooke Esquire of the said District deposited in this office the title of a book the right whereof he claims as author in the words following, towit,

" Reports of cases argued and adjudged in the Supreme Court of errors and appeals of Tennessee and in the Federal Court for the District of West Tennessee By William [Wilcox?] Cooke Esquire "

In conformity to the Act of the Congress of the United States entitled an Act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the Copies of Maps, Charts & books to the Authors and proprietors of Such Copies during the terms therein mentioned; And also to an Act entitled an Act Suplementary to an Act entitled an Act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the Copies of Maps, Charts, and books to the Authors and proprietors of Such Copies during the terms therein mentioned and extending the benefits thereof to the acts of designing engraving adn etching historical and other prints.

District of West Tennessee [??t] Be it remembered that on the fifth day of July in the fortieth year of the Independence of the United States of America and in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fifteen, William Brown of the said District hath deposited in this office Copper plate likenesses of General Jackson, [Carroll?], and [Coffers?], the Right whereof he claims as Author & ingraver. In Conformity to the Act of the Congress of the United States entitled "an act for the encouragement of learning, by Securing the Copies of maps, charts, and books, to the authors and proprietors of Such Copies during the times therein mentioned - And also of an act entitled an act Supplementary to an act entitled an act for the encouragement of learning by Securing the Copies of maps, charts, & books to the Authors and proprietors of such copies during the terms therein mentioned, and extending the benefits through to the acts of designing, engraving and etching historical and other prints.
