There's a note along the side of the first column, written vertically that seems to say "copied from all books", how would this be transcribed? Or does it need to be transcribed?
I also changed the notation of the year being 1899 to 1877, since the numbers written look more like 7s and Western having officially opened in 1878, 1877 makes a lot more sense since this seems to be about raising money for the opening of the university.
