majority of cases are looking fine
There is a Y.M.C.A. here and several canteens
which make things fairly hardy
The few words of French I learned in
Montreal have come in very handy but of course
the language is somewhat different
After becoming familiar with the English
money it takes a little time to get used to sous
centimes , francs, etc, but at that the French money is
easier to understand
Lord only knows when you will receive
this note but guess it will arrive in Granton sometime
You understand Sis that I cannot write long
letters because I have nothing I can say
Remember me to the folks and be sure you
write long letters
