Hot day.
Bad attack of cholera
last night but all right today
though weak. Wrote Ja. & Sam.
Sent Sam McPhail & McLean papers.
Went to Horticultural gardens
after tea with Alick & the
Biscoe boys.

FRIDAY, 8
Very stormy and wet. Lunched at
Thomas with Alick Jack
hagarty & Fred & Henry. Dined at
the Hillyard Cameron's. Last day of term.

SATURDAY, 9.
Muggy day. Called at Mrs
Grants' before dinner. Left
for London with Alick & arrived
allright on time at 8.30 p.m.
Aunt Fanny & Mr Reynolds both
at Thornwood. Got order in
McCallums & McLean before leaving.
