Dear Dairy

At 6.30am Miss Hoover
came up to tell me Mrs Roberts
had died last night or rather
this morning at 3.21 am.
I went down to breakfast -
then reported to Miss Donald
and asked for today & tomorrow
off. Then Brownie McQueen
& I met downtown - bought
black satin slippers 2 pair
stockings - teddy. - corselette
bloomers - and had some
pictures framed. Had lunch
at Copper Tea kettle - awfully
good. Then went through
Indian Exhibit and Museum
in State Education building.
They were perfectly gorgeous. I have
