Dear Dairy.
Nothing unusual today-
Mrs. Roberts not so good-
wrote to Rugie- Had letter
from Mae & Happy.
Downtown [line over lower case c] McQueen & Kerr-
bought skates- Scrapbook-
and sundries. Opened account
in Savings Bank. deposited-
69.50. not so bad for a start-
but will certainly have to do
better. Have misplaced two
checks for 12.00 each. Sure do
hope they aren't lost.
Account in Mothers name
too. so she can have money
if anything happens-Should
have put it in Mae's name
really, but that will be O.K.
Broke my pen nib- Hence
