Nov 11th---Dear Madam---here this scribble/terrible is yet---letters are coming in from all quarters about Cleveland. I hope enough of those whose eyes are opened

everywhere---especially of those who have been steadily [slogging? a word which means steady hard work] away the last 25 years, before most of these Clevelanders
