To the Council and House of Representatives of Wisconsin Territory.

We the undersigned citizens of Washington County Wisconsin Territory do hereby remonstrate against the repeal of an Act passed A.D. 1844 entitled An act impowering each and every man of six months Residence in this Territory who has filed his Declaration, with bona fide intention of becoming a citizen of the United States, to have the privilege of voting for Delegates to frame a Constitution when the question comes before the people. Jan. 28th 1845
