To the Hon. the Legislature of the State of Wisconsin

We the undersigned citizens and Tax prayers of Polk County, would respectfully ask you to enact a special law, authorizing the inhabitants of Polk County to vote at the next Spring Election on the proportion to purchase one half of the St. Croix Bridge. And your petitioner will ever pray &c.
