To the Honorable Senate and House of Represen-
tatives of the State of Wisconsin.

The Undersigned Citizens of Brown County
in said State represents
That the main Branch of the "Oconto River a stream
tributary to Green Bay, and Called the "Omannacagon"
or "Little River" was not meandered by the Public
Survey which was made under the authority of
the General Government of the Lands lying upon
its borders : That said River from its junction
with the "Oconto River" aforesaid in Sec : No 30.
in Township No 28 N of Range No 21 up as far as
the North line of Township No Twenty Nine (29) in
the Range of aforesaid, (a distance averaging 8 or
ten Miles) is of an average width of the hundred
and fifty feet and of sufficient depth to navigate
Boats thereon with a draught of two feet, and
if kept from obstruction would afford great
conveniences as a Public Highway --

We therefore pray your Honorable Body to
declare said River, between the Boundaries
named, a Navigable Stream, and also to
dedicate the same by a Public Act to the
use of the Public as a common Highway --
