To the Senate and Assembly of the State of Wisconsin:

The undersigned citizens of th County of Racine would beg leave respectfully
to represent that, in their opinion, the general prosperity of the whole State of Wisconsin would be
greatly promotoed, and the whole farming, mechanical and commercial intersts would be materially
benefitted by loaning the School Fund, in moderate sums, upon good security, to aid in the immediate
construction of Plan Roads upon all the principal thoroughfares throught the State; -- and as in
duty bound, will ever pray, &c.
