Peition from inhabitants of the town & village of Geneva.

To the Honourable the Council House of Representatives of Territory of Wisconsin in Legislation Assembled

Your petitioners the subscribers inhabitants of the village of Geneva Walworth Co. humbly ask your honourable body to annex to the village of Geneva in case it is incorporated 5 acres in the southwest corner of the north west quarter of Sect 3A Town 2 Range 18 and also to be incorporated in the Town of Geneva in case of the division of said township of Geneva into 4 towns as said honourable legislature are memorialized - the reason for asking for said parcel of land to be surveyed to Geneva is that the individual in the occupancy of said quarter section be it whom it may will be seriously incommoded by being obliged to go 7 miles to attend to town business when he or they can be accomodated at the village of Geneva about 100 rods and your petitioners will every pray.
